Human Resource Manager
Anthony is a seasoned People & Culture Specialist with proven strategic and operational human resources management experience spanning over 12 years having worked for corporate organizations, International and local NGOs. In addition, his experience in the development and humanitarian sector entailed supporting implementation of health and humanitarian programs both in Kenya & Somalia cutting across diverse donor agencies. Anthony is licensed to practice Human Resource in Kenya by the Institute of Human Resource Management.
His most recent engagement was with CARE International-Somalia where he was responsible for leading implementation of key HR projects across the different field offices in Somalia, standardizing HR processes & procedures across the Country Office, advising senior management on potential HR risks regarding legal and staff management issues as well as offering tactical and operational support to the HR focal points in Somalia. At Health Strat, Anthony is tasked to support and contribute to the attainment of the overall organizational strategic business plans and objectives through effective management and leadership of the HR function, ensuring that the Human Resource function is aligned and responsive to business changing needs, supporting efficient implementation of donor funded projects as well as efficient management of the organizations most important resource which is people to support the attainment of the organization’s objectives.
