The Ministry of Health through the National AIDS and STIs Control Program (NASCOP) with support from PEPFAR-CDC engaged University of Nairobi to develop e-learning courses to fast track training and reach every health care worker involved in the HIV response in Kenya.
HIV Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) e-Courses
The purpose of the e-learning M&E tools training course is to provide the front- line Health Care Workers with the updates on the revised HIV M&E tools and to equip them with skills to correctly complete the tools and for appropriate reporting.
In this course, you will learn the definitions, the concepts applied to ART cohort analysis, the various data sources for calculating different cohort outcomes and the application of the results in programming.
In this course, you will learn the definitions the concepts applied to HEI cohort analysis, various data sources for calculating different cohort outcomes, application of the HEI cohort analysis results in programming and HEI cohort data use.
In this course, you will understand the various data sources used in Health and HIV programmes, concepts of Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Improve your competency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, identify ways of presenting and communicating findings and utilize information for decision making.
